It is a pleasure sharing a few words about my daughter.

Areej is a fun loving, beautiful and well-cultured person who follows her culture and tradition with a modern touch to it. She has a zest to achieve her dreams, but at the same time considers family and her loved ones central to her life. Her close ones also know her as an honest and straightforward individual who respects people and their opinion. She is friendly and down to earth and enjoys simple joys life has to offer.

Areej's words:

Islamically, I am pretty laid back and open-minded when it comes to others, meaning I don't like to judge. But personally, my views tend to be on the conservative side.
As far as my personality goes, I laugh easily and never get bored as long as I'm with good company. I love meeting people and learning their stories. I always get excited by the idea of helping someone in need. It's hard to describe what I like to do for fun... more because I feel like I'm constantly discovering new interests. I like to exercise my creative side outside of work, so I enjoy photography and gardening. I spend some time volunteering - it's a way to meet/help people, which I don't get to do through work. And I enjoy being outdoors; Pittsburgh is great for nature walks and beautiful bike rides.
General background...I have been living in Pittsburgh, PA for over 17 years after having lived in several places growing up, including Houston and Saudi Arabia. I have a very caring family and two siblings I love a lot. My family has shaped who I am, both my faith and character, tremendously. I currently work as an electrical engineer for a medical device company. My job is stressful but rewarding, and the support I get from my co-workers is priceless.
A few more things about me - the relationships I have with the people in my life are extremely important to me. I don't give up on people, it's just not in me.
